Healthcare Improvement Scotland is a health body formed on 1st April 2011. It has been created by the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 and marks a change in the way the quality of healthcare across Scotland will be supported nationally.

Joint Improvement Team (JIT) - "Shaping Care for Older People"
The Joint Improvement Team (JIT), Directorate for Health Workforce and Performance, was established in late 2004 to work directly with local health and social care partnerships across Scotland.
