New Midlothian Voluntary Action Peer Support Start up fund - applications welcome.
These are small (up to £500), grants to support new local peer support groups across the communities of Midlothian.
Have you ever thought that it would be good to meet other people with a similar interest, hobby or health condition for a bit of support, a chance for a blether or to have a space just to get together? Midlothian Voluntary Action, in partnership with Midlothian Council, with various voluntary sector partners are working together to offer small start-up grants to individuals or groups with ideas to bring people together in common activity or connection within local communities. The key focus will be to improve people’s health and well - being in some way maybe allowing people to feel better connected to others and the communities in which they live.
Interested, please read more, or pass on to anyone you think may be!
