MVA provides a number of services to assist and develop new and existing community and Third Sector organisations.
We provide one-to-one support to organisations.
We provide training courses for both staff and Board/Committee members.
In addition, we provide and distribute information; provide resources (including the MVA Toolkit); represent the voluntary sector (and support the representation of the voluntary sector) in Community Planning; and publicise and promote the Voluntary Sector.
These services are available to Community Groups, Voluntary Organisations and Social Enterprises based in/working in Midlothian. In addition, we host the worker(s) from the Social Enterprise Alliance Midlothian (SEAM).
We also provide a variety of other resources including an accessible meeting room with the use of multi-media equipment, photocopying and printing, laminating and a limited desk top publishing service.
